  My family has previously gone to other Mastro's locations and had amazing dinner experiences. We figured we'd try this location since it was a little easier for everyone to get to, but unfortunately the experience did not live up to the usual standards.
  
  While we were sat quickly, got our menus and drink orders in quickly, things went down hill pretty fast. I'll try to summarize events without drawing out the whole thing.
  
  Essentially our waiter disappeared after we ordered. Drinks and entrees were delivered to the wrong people. Water and wine glasses were not refilled, we basically just poured for ourselves all night. Empty drinks and appetizer plates sat in front of us for prolonged periods of time, they hastily cleared them as the entrees were being brought out. There was a long gap between appetizers and entrees. I will give them credit that the food was as good as you would expect, steaks cooked exactly as ordered.
  
  Overall, the experience fell flat. At other Mastro's locations, you truly have an elevated dining experience with very personalized service - you feel like you're the only table in the restaurant. It would be one thing if they were slammed when we visited, but there were a lot of empty tables. When I got up to use the restroom I couldn't help but notice the wait staff and managers goofing around in the hallway.
  
  I'll still go to the other Mastro's (the Ocean Club in Newport Beach is one of my favorite restaurants ever), but will not come back here. For the price you expect a much better experience, I'd rather go with the other options nearby.

  One of the best restaurant experiences ever. Our last visit was on NYE and we were very pleased with our entire experience! As you walk into the beautiful lobby you are greeted immediately. The service is outstanding from start to finish. The food is absolutely superb. I highly recommend the Filet, Roasted Brussels Spouts, Scalloped Potatoes and Caesar Salad. Love the atmosphere and they always have talented entertainment. Prepare to be delighted. You won’t be disappointed.

  Good steakhouse
  
  Steaks are cooked at a high temp so they have a char on the outside, then served on a hot plate. Servers come by and add sides to your plate if you ordered any: mashed potatoes, creamed spinach, snap peas. The extra plating at the table was a nice touch, family loved it. Steak was flavorful. Wine menu had a good selection. Everyone will tell you about the butter cake for dessert (it was very good).
  
  Good steak, wine, sides, and excellent service. Also family friendly
